Reshape a back door at the house

The Content Of The Article:

The area behind the house is missing a design idea, and the area under the stairs is difficult to plant. As a result, the garden part looks bare and unlovely. The old rain barrel on the left seems uninviting. There is a lack of attractive planting and a comfortable seating.

Suggestion 1: Flowery square with hearth

On the undefined area behind the house, a flowered area with a fireplace was created: a meeting place for family and friends. The simple wooden benches can be placed closer to the flames if necessary. The logs are stored in the previously unused area under the stairs - this is both practical and decorative at the same time.
The pink Clematis texensis 'Peveril Profusion', which grows up on a trellis in the pot, produces colorful blossoms here. It blooms from April to June and forms after a small break from July to September, a second pile. On the left side of the house wall and at the passage to the lawn, she also climbs up. Paved areas and paths have been given a layer of multicolored concrete paving.

The privacy screen, which now hides the rain barrel, is visually based on the balcony balustrade

In the flower beds, especially high red-violet meadow rue and purple star-colored umbels attract attention in the summer. Both plants were chosen for their dark stems, among other things. At the foot are yellow glowing milkweed and yellow-green lady's mantle. In between, blue-purple Himalayan cranesbill and white dyer master appear again and again. The tall white perennials are the name Natterwurz - also known as the Purple Dost - which also has red-green foliage in addition to dark stems. The tree to the right of the stairs is an ash maple. Its light pink, white and green variegated leaves make the crown look light and airy while still providing a cozy atmosphere. Underplanted is the area with sedges and cranesbill.

Design idea with fireplace

In the area under the fireplace, basalt plaster was laid. The natural stone is dark and smooth and goes well with the wrought iron shell

At the hearth, the dark flower stalks of the high meadow rue and the similarly colored, slightly lower star thistle create a nice contrast to the green of the leaves. Petite cranesbill and colorful milkweed as well as some hidden white dyer masters are blooming in yellow-green. All plants need sun and a slightly damp garden soil.
