Freeze chard properly

This keeps the vegetables after freezing its color and also its aroma. Now give the chard for about 1 minute in boiling water. Then lift with a foam trowel out of the hot water and place immediately in ice water. Then lift out again, drain and dry well with kitchen paper. Then you can put it in portions in freezer bags. Then just squeeze the air out of the bag, close and you can freeze the whole thing. As a rule, the chard then lasts up to 12 months.
