You need the following material and tools for the lanterns: round drinking glasses with smooth vertical walls, cat templates (please download here), black construction paper, ruler, pencil, small cutter, cutting base, tracing paper, black fiber silk (craft supplies), black fabric tape (eg "tesa extra Power® Perfect"), transparent adhesive tape (eg "tesafilm® Eco & Clear")
Print the cat templates to the required size and stick the stencils on the black construction paper with transparent adhesive tape. Now cut each motif with a cutter or craft scalpel along the lines
Now cut the floss to the height and perimeter of the tealight. Add an extra centimeter to the circumference so that the ends overlap slightly. Then each cut cat is glued with black fabric tape in the middle of the bottom edge of the fiber silk
Lay the fiber silk with the cat motif inwards around the glass and secure it with transparent adhesive tape
Now cut the translucent paper to the size of the fiber silk, put it around the outside of each lantern and fix it with transparent tape. The paper gives the candlelight later the necessary mystical mood. Now only the tealights are missing - and the Halloween lanterns are ready
