So if you grow kale in your own garden, you can enjoy fresh vegetables even in winter. The important thing is that he gets frost in any case. For then starch is converted into sugar and this makes the kale really tasty.

Kale is really tasty and it's just so bubbling with nutrients, but leaf vegetables have a downside.

When you put kale in the pot, it sinks heavily. What initially looks like a hefty portion ends after cooking as a small pile of misery.

So if you want to cook kale for several people, then you should cook a decent portion. It is roughly said that you need a lot of about one kilogram of fresh produce for two people.

Cooking kale - instructions

Before kale can get into the pot, it still needs to be prepared properly.

First you have to remove the cabbage from the stalk. This works best if you simply pluck it off.
