For replanting: Flowering shrub ensemble

The Content Of The Article:

In March or April, the forsythia 'Spectabilis' heralds the season with her yellow flowers. In May, the hedge begins to bloom from petite Deutzia, for two months it is densely covered with white panicles. The pretty enclosure can be cut into shape as needed after flowering.
On the left of the forsythia, the Weigelie 'Bristol Ruby' complements the bright colors from the end of May with strong ruby red. Even after the main flowering in June and July, it continues to produce buds. On the right the Stuffed Deutzie 'Plena' grows, its many pink buds open from June to white flowers that cover the entire shrub.

In the gaps between the large shrubs are three St. John's wort of the variety 'Hidcote'. From the second year they bloom tirelessly from July to October. Even after that, they still look attractive, because they throw off their leaves only in late winter. For a spherical growth, they are cut back by half every two to three years in the spring. The three large shrubs are screened at the same rate - but after flowering. Except lawn mowing, no further care is needed in this front yard.

Weigela 'Bristol Ruby'

The Weigelie 'Bristol Ruby' shows its impressive flowers from late May to late June. Later, it usually comes to the after-flowering. The shrub grows up to three meters high and when it grows freely as wide. In the blooming hedge he takes up less space. The Weigelie is frost hardy, robust and thrives on all garden floors. A sunny to half-shady place is ideal; If the plant is darker, use fewer buds.
