If you want to freeze it, you should make sure when buying that the pods are juicy green and crisp. You can recognize the freshness, e.g. because the pods squeak when you rub them together. Not quite as fresh specimens, however, have mostly yellowish spots or spots.
So you freeze sugar peas properly
Usually you can keep fresh sugar peas for up to five days in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator. Simply wrap the pods with a damp kitchen towel or place in a bag. However, if you want to have more of this vegetable longer, the pods can also freeze.
